My lovely friend, Jolene Lupo, shot this portrait of me at the Penumbra Tintype Studio for my birthday. We were trying to recreate this portrait of Julia Margaret Cameron.
This is a 8x10 tintype shot on an antique Century Camera with an antique Petzval lens. We went for more dramatic lighting and dark lips, to make the image a bit more modern. It was a ton of fun trying to recreate the image.
